Getting back to blogging here

I’m going to try to get back to blogging here.  I have my diary over on opendiary but I want this to be more than that one.  I’ve made friends over there, friends who are currently driving me nuts.  So – I’m posting here. 

I’ve decided it’s time to really take control of my life.  I’m going to get started on writing a book – a series actually.  I’ve begun brainstorming how I want it to go.  It’s from an idea I’ve kicked around a few times over the last year or so.  I just need to start really putting the ideas together and in a single place where I can find them again.  And then of course I need to sit down and actually write.  I tried to start writing it back during Nano but I didn’t get very far.  However, my patriarchal blessing states that I should set high goals and that I will achieve them…so I’m starting with this.

On another note, my birthday is this week :)  That definitely has me excited.  Oh! I need to remember to call my visiting teaching partner either tonight or right when I get home from work tomorrow.  I think we’re going out VT-ing tomorrow night, but I dont remember what time :-P.  I was a little pre-occupied when we talked on Sunday.
