I'm a recent college graduate currently looking for that elusive full time job. I graduated with a major in political science but I'll admit I have no idea what I want to do with it. I LOVE the political system and the Constitution but *shrugs* I don't know where I want to go. I'm pretty directionless right now. Mostly that bothers me, but I can't seem to figure it out. In any case, I did get a call from the temp agency that I'm registered with. They have a possible temp position for 3-4 months, working 30-40 hours a week at somewhere between $10 and $11. I'd prefer in the neighborhood of $11, but $10 will keep the wolf from the door as I look for that permanent job.
I really want to find that permanent job because when I do, I'll get to go visit my best friend in New Zealand :) We haven't seen each other in nearly 15 years and we lost contact for awhile, but two years ago she found me on Facebook and we've been emailing back and forth since then. For that reason alone, I LOVE Facebook.
I feel I should also mention through Facebook, I also found the details on my five year class reunion. It's hard for me to believe that I've been out of high school for five years now. Logically I know I have been, but t's still hard to believe. It's strange, my memories of my senior year are much more distinct than my memories of my one year at Northern Michigan University. Of course, I realized that Northern Michigan University was not the place for me.
And that's all she wrote (for now anyway!)
